Abstract
After a study of the masking of magnesium by zinc in an alcaline medium the authors have established a new method for the polarographic analysis of magnesium. This new method has numerous advantages. It is simple and quick and it allows of a very precise determination of magnesium in very small quantities, also in the presence of high concentrations of zinc.
