Abstract

Y. Morvan - Concerning industrial economy This review shows the main stages in the development of industrial economics in the framework of economic analysis, in the U.S. and then in Europ. This (short) analysis of the concerns and objectives of those who have been engaged in the study of industrial structures and policies makes it possible to outline some of the necessary elements to be included in a definition of industrial economics. Finally, the questioning of approaches and methods used in this field results in a few remarks concerning the scope and likelyevolution of industrial economics.
