Abstract

In this work we solve a problem of a solid infinitely long cylinder composed of three layers of different materials. The current problem occurs in the context of fractional order thermoelasticity theory. The problem is solved using a direct approach together with the Laplace transform technique. A numerical method based on Fourier expansion is used to obtain the inverse transform. The results are represented graphically and discussed.
