Abstract

A procedure is described that uses a vacuum-formed clear template to facilitate occlusal modifications of natural mandibular teeth opposing a maxillary complete denture. This procedure ensures that the amount of tooth reduction planned on the articulator can be accurately transferred to the mouth and it allows more precise odontoplasty.
