Abstract
The demonstration of two foreign bodies in an excised eye using ultrasonic holography is recorded. A brief description of the holographic process is given together with the method of ultrasonic scanning and image reconstruction used for the investigation. It is suggested that the first clinical application for this diagnostic method may be in the field of ophthalmology.
