Abstract
Work is the principal form of human life activity. Changes in production and in work invariably carry with them changes in all other spheres of life. It is not only the material conditions of people's lives (income level, size of personal garden farm, the material standard of homelife) that are associated with the work people perform, but also their cultural habits, levels of education, participation in civic activity, and so forth.
