Abstract
This edition of Scriptura contains a number of contributions deriving from an empirical research project on Biblical interpretation within the context of established Bible study groups. A number of Biblical scholars and theologians from the Western Cape region participated in this research project between 1996 and 2001. The first contribution in this volume offers a detailed chronicle of this research project.
