Abstract

Referral criteria for photoscreening instruments currently rely on cutoff values for each estimate of refractive error; tailoring them to adjust predictive values is challenging. We present a model that combines refractive estimates to provide a single outcome metric that is associated with the likelihood of a child having an amblyopia risk factor (ARF).
