Abstract
In this paper, it is described a calculation method of wearing the concrete flume influenced by bed material load. It is proposed a physical model for the process of the concrete plate undermined by the particles. A collision period time between a grass bead panicle and the concrete plate in water was determined in the experiments used high speed CCD camera. The percentage of the particles with vector to bottom in the particles near the bottom was determined in the experiments. The calculated results by the prediction model shows a good agreement on the experimental results what the bottom of concrete flume was wearing by bed material load.
