Abstract
Jet dispenser is widely used in LED (light emitting diode), microelectronic and optoelectronic packaging field. Temperature fluctuation of adhesives is a significant factor which affects the consistency of jet dispenser. As the working condition of jet dispenser is variable, the traditional PID temperature control method cannot meet requirements of high precision dispensing. A new temperature control system is designed for a proposed jet dispenser. Fuzzy PID temperature control approach is applied in the system. Temperature fluctuation is decreased from ±3.2 to ±1.1 °C with the new system. The jetting performance will be improved with the temperature control approach.
