Abstract

The demand for electricity in society is increasing. It is necessary to continuously strengthen the construction of transmission capacity. This article establishes a precise calculation method for the current carrying capacity of wires based on finite element analysis, taking into account the aluminum core diameter, steel core diameter, pitch diameter ratio, rotation angle, etc., which has higher calculation accuracy and is suitable for calculating the current carrying capacity in different meteorological environments. It is of great significance for fully tapping the power supply potential of transmission lines and improving the capacity of transmission channels.
