Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.Thanks to special geographical location and environmental conditions, the coastal areas of the Huanghai Sea and Bohai Sea are rich in solar energy resources, which makes the effective use of solar heating in highrise residential buildings an important way to save energy in buildings. As one of the main ways of passive solar energy utilization in residential buildings, solar water heaters are widely used with mature and stable technology, but their efficiency is seriously hampered by the lack of integration with buildings in practical application. In this paper, based on the results of the system research and in combination with the characteristics of the coastal buildings, firstly, the design principles, forms, steps and other key links of the integrated use of passive solar heating in the costal high-rise residential buildings are proposed; then the design method of integrated application of solar thermal equipment in roof, elevation, veranda and other places are put forward, which lays a solid theoretical basis for the integrated design and practical scheme of passive solar heating in high-rise residential buildings in coastal areas.
