Abstract
The wireless cellular network deployed for railway can be characterized by specific chain structure, high speed mobility, high security requirement, frequent and continuous handover, predicable traffic aligned with train schedule. In this paper, to achieve an energy efficient solution for wireless cellular railway network, we proposed an optimal power control solution to adjust transmission power adaptively based on actual Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR) for Multimedia Broadcast multicast service Single Frequency Network (MBSFN) at User Equipment (UE) side when provide Enhanced Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service ( E-MBMS). The system model and optimization algorithms are introduced. Simulation results show that this solution can be a good way for high network energy efficiency and can dynamically adjust the output power for the multicast service.
