Abstract

Possibilities of using a thin detector to obtain the shape of continuous neutron spectra with a resolution of ∼1 MeV, combining (CH 2) n and (CD 2) n radiators of different thicknesses, are discussed. The efficiencies measured using (CD 2) n and (CH 2) n radiators at E n = 2.8 MeV and 14.8 MeV are presented and compared with calculations.
