Abstract
SUMMARYThis report summarizes the approach taken by the Forest Management Institute to develop a basic, comparatively inexpensive digital image interpretation system, for remotely sensed data, based on a minicomputer. The report should be of interest to those contemplating the purchase of a digital image interpretation system, but constrained by cost and other resources.
