Abstract

When studying air compositions in enclosed spaces for the purpose of detecting trace concentrations of contaminating and hazardous substances, a problem arises of whether it is possible to produce charged aerosols with subsequent detection of its components by specialized devices. In this paper, we propose one of the possible engineering solutions to the unit used for forming a charged aerosol from droplets of volatile liquids, for concentrating target components in the air, and their transportation to the detector input.
