Abstract

AbstractOptical polarization in ordered GaInP2 has been studied by low-temperature photoluminescence. By comparing our experimental results to the theoretical predictions, we show that to obtain quantitative information about ordering from the polarization of near-band-gap transitions, the effects of lattice mismatch, substrate misorientation, and excitonic transitions should be taken into account.
