Abstract

In practice, plane model is often used to analyze slope reinforced by single row anti-slide pile reinforcement in slope engineering. It is noted that plane model cannot take some important influence factors such as radius and space of pile into account. Comparative analysis between 2D and 3D numerical model is conducted based on strength reduction method. The results indicate that the safety factor by 2D numerical model is greater than that by 3D numerical model. So, the safety factor by 2D numerical model should be reduced properly. The equation of reduction factor is given by means of regression analysis. Thus, the actual reinforcement effect of single-row anti-slide pile on slope is reflected by plane numerical model without building complicate 3D numerical model, and the problem of big error resulting by using traditional plane numerical model can be solved successfully.
