Abstract
The letter I wrote you yesterday should be arriving soon. Tonight, because of a conversation I had with Hesen,1 it has suddenly occurred to me to tell you two of my greatest hopes. First, I hope you will join the public association2 at Beijing University. Second, I hope you will urge the junior high school graduates, normal school students,3 and high school students of our province to get together and ask that Beijing University establish a coeducational high school class.
