Abstract

Purpose: Family centered rounds (FCR) are common in pediatric inpatient medicine, however rounding structures can differ between institutions based on participants, the location of rounds, and the role of trainees. Our institution utilized walking, hallway rounds to conduct FCR, but increasing concerns about confidentiality and trainee education resulted in discussion about other rounding methods.
