Abstract

The article is an attempt to describe the schemes, dependencies and models of conduct in the profession of an accompanist, which have been identified by the author during the 20 years of her professional experience. She tries to thoroughly study the processes which the musicians’ community often regards as intuitive or dependent on specific individual predispositions. The presentation of certain casual links is aimed at solving the most frequent problems occurring while working on score material. These elements are analysed considering academic achievements of psychologists and neurophysiologists.
