Abstract It is reported that no evidence for regular eclipses or other periodic features was found in high-speed photometry light curves for the old nova, V603 Aquilae, so that the periodic variations found by the IUE satellite remain a puzzle. It is suggested that these variations may arise from the formation of transient features in the accretion disk. The 15 deg inclination previously inferred from spectroscopic studies is supported by recent IUE and X-ray data.
