Abstract
A phenomenological two-component model for hadron constituents is suggested from the data on the non-scaling single particle inclusive spectra in the central region (x~O), the angular correlations between a large P.1. particle and other particles, and the internal structure (quark-parton) of a hadron. On the basis of the hard scattering model and the two-compo nent model, hadron-hadron scattering is described in terms of core-core, core-wee and wee wee interactions. It is shown that in the large p .1. region above 1 Ge VIc, both the quantita tive properties of the single particle inclusive spectra and the qualitative properties of the angular correlations can be described well by the model.
