Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to bring to the context of theological studies the contribution of Foucault and Deleuze on genealogy /cartography. In this sense, the approach begins with the presentation of the concept of subjectivity and the processes of subjectivation in order to then present the fundamentals of the cartographic method as developed by Foucault following Nietzsche’s understanding of genealogy. Finally, the possibility of producing theology from these concepts is discussed.
