Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine if the professional experience influences the way that municipal sport managers’ value their roles and their perception of time spent in work tasks. Fifty managers filled a questionnaire. In data analysis it was used basic descriptive measures, multivariate analysis for dependent variables and Pearson's correlation. The results showed a significant interaction between the two factors: professional experience and years in the organization on the valuation of the roles and on the perception of the time spent to perform the work tasks. The experience reveals to be significant at the level of perception of importance in dimension teaching/lecturing and time allocated on the dimensions teaching/lecturing and marketing.
