Abstract

In addition to myrianthinic acid, arboreic acid, and the known tormentic and euscaphic acids, a new ursane derivative, myriaboric acid, has been isolated from the polar material of the stembark of Myrianthus arboreus, and its structure elucidated by spectroscopic methods.
