Abstract
There is a demand for new methods and opportunities provided by digital technology in physical education in schools that can be well tracked. This is especially true for teacher assessment of student performance. Instead of the term physical education, the phrase “physically educated” is used more and more often, also indicating the direction and purpose of current educational methods. Perhaps we are not far from the truth if we say that while new teaching methods and teaching practices appear in a well-designed way in physical education classes in schools, in performance-oriented sports they are still not so widespread or accepted. True, this is due to the educational environment and the core curriculum guidelines, which encourage the use of innovative ideas. In school education, similarly to competitive sports, contest and feedback have a prominent role in activities. Without these two factors, effective and successful education and development are unimaginable. In our paper, we present the educational method and the pedagogical approach to feedback and assessment in the work of a physical education teacher. This method has a decade-long tradition, it has been tried and tested, and can also be applied to the world of sports, hence the approach is transferable.
