Abstract

Nyquist folding receiver (NYFR) is a novel ultra-wideband receiver which can use a small amount of equipment to realize wideband receiving. The NYFR is an effective architecture to intercept the LFM signal and the LFM signal intercepted by NYFR will be added with the Nyquist zone (NZ) information. Based on the NYFR prior information, the NZ information estimation algorithm is proposed using matching component function. Then, the parameters of the LFM signal are estimated. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can estimate the parameters of the LFM signal intercepted by the NYFR accurately when the SNR is greater than −4dB.
