Abstract
Density and dispersion of the ground-squirrel (Spermophilus citellus) on the Paks Ürge-mező (part of the Dél-Mezőföld Landscape Area) was studied by squirrel hole counting. In autumn of 2006 the density of squirrels was 8 ind./ha and in spring of 2007 was 28-30 ind./ha.
