Abstract
Abstract We describe archival, serendipitously obtained Hubble Space Telescope (HST) observations of a tidally disturbed galaxy pair (AM 0436–472 NED01/LEDA 503707) located at z = 0.058 (240 Mpc). The system likely belongs to peculiar ring galaxies of Solitaire type. We also analyze an archival optical spectrum of AM 0436–472 NED01 and report an upper limit in X-rays (0.2–10 keV).
