Abstract

A pair of novel 2D homochiral coordination polymers based on proline-tetrazole ligand, namely [Cd((S)-PTZ)2]n (1-L) and [Zn((S)-PTZ)2]n (2-L), were obtained and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, solid-state CD spectra, single-crystal X-ray crystallography and powder X-ray diffraction. The compounds 1-L and 2-L display 4-connected net and SHG response.
