Abstract

A. P. Pinkevich belonged to that galaxy of Soviet educators who had a difficult task to perform, namely, that of laying the foundation for a new labor school and creating the principles of Soviet pedagogy. During the first two decades following the victory of the Great October Socialist Revolution, Pinkevich participated most actively in creating the Soviet system of education and developing the higher teacher training school.
