Also, evaluation helps health care professionals to show results of care as well as use of evidence-based practice.1,2 The Nutrition Care Process (NCP) is a standardized framework that was adopted by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (Academy) in 2003 and guides nutrition and dietetics practitioners to provide consistent and targeted evidence-based nutrition care to individual clients and populations.
