Abstract

Menopausal women face a variety of physical, social and psychological problems. The authors advocate the use of King's model of nursing as a framework to identify their problems and encourage client co-operation to overcome them. The adoption of this model would also support claims to clinical nurse specialist status for nurses working in menopause clinics.
