Abstract
A numerical method is proposed to analyze the scattering of a printed dipole antenna with feed structure which gives the structural mode RCS and antenna mode RCS separately taking advantage of short and open structure at the feed. The method is derived and the scattering of antenna with arbitrary load is obtained accurately. The structural mode RCS and antenna mode RCS are compared with the results by other methods, which proves the method correct and efficient. The results are meaningful for the antenna RCS prediction and reduction.
