Abstract
In this paper, a numerical integration method in affine space for computing structural system failure probability is presented. This method has the advantage over the method in orthogonal space in that the integration grid can be easily generated because of the very simple integration domain. Furthermore, by using it to compute the two- and three-order joint failure probabilities, the computational accuracy of Feng's method for combining system failure probability is increased.
