Abstract

This paper proposes a frequency-modulated continuous-wave(FMCW) waveform design for multiple input multiple output(MIMO) radar, which improves the speed limit under the condition of ensuring the direction of arrivals(DOA) estimation performance. Through simulation, this method can achieve better performance in moving target velocity and angle measurement compared with MIMO radar system of classical triangular waveform or multi period sawtooth waveform. This method fully considers the performance of mainstream traffic MIMO radar and is easy to be implement in engineering.
