Abstract

Mechanical transmission systems are susceptible to vibration for torsional moment in work, which causes flutter and buffeting during mechanical transmission, affecting the precision of the mechanical transmission control and resulting in steady-state error. Therefore, an optimal control method of torsional vibration in mechanical transmission system based on variable structure PID fuzzy control is proposed. With this method, a constraint parametric model for torsional vibration in mechanical transmission system is constructed. The simulation experiment results show that the proposed method can control the torsional vibration in the mechanical transmission system steadily with relative strong adaptive tracking compensation ability of torsional moment and other parameters, which indicates that the method improves the robustness of mechanical transmission with good buffeting elimination and suppression performance during mechanical transmission.
