Abstract
We present a new variant use of the free fibula flap to stabilize a severe cervical kyphosis in a patient with type-1 neurofibromatosis (NF). We proceed to discuss the association of type-1 NF with cervical deformities and the benefits of free fibula flaps in facilitating the stabilization of such deformities.
