Abstract

In this contribution, we synthesized a novel Li5ZnSnNbO8 ceramics with the traditional solid-state reaction. The correlations between microwave performance and crystal structures were systematically studied. According to the XRD result, the Li5ZnSnNbO8 formed a rock salt structure, belongs to Fm-3m (225) space group, which can be further confirmed by the Rietveld refinement method. By observing the SEM photograph and measuring the density, it is found that the sample has the highest degree of densification. Typically, the Li5ZnSnNbO8 ceramic sintered at 1250 °C for 4 h exhibited the excellent microwave dielectric performance of εr = 17.17, Q×f = 51519 GHz and τf = −28.2 ppm/°C.
