Abstract
A novel synthesis of per(poly)fluoroalkyl aldehydes in high yield by the reaction ofper(poly)fluoroalkyl iodides or bromides with dimethylformamide initiated by aPbBr 2(catalyst)/Al bimetal redox system is described.
