Abstract

At present, there are still many problems in the construction process of the smart grid simulation platform, such as limited simulation resources, tight coupling of power simulation equipment and simulation scenarios. According to the characteristics of software-defined networking(SDN), this paper proposes a software-defined based smart grid simulation platform(SDGS) construction framework to solve this problem. The framework uses software-defined system(SDS) and cloud computing technology to achieve rapid and flexible construction of simulation platforms, centralized and efficient management of simulation resources. The SDGS solution provides a new way to build a smart grid simulation platform in the future, that is, the simulation platform can also be built like a software-defined data center(SDDC). Users only need to pay attention to the design of the power simulation business, without wasting too much time studying simulation software and configuring simulation environment. The complex simulation environment generation and configuration process will be automatically completed by the SDGS platform in the cloud, thereby ensuring the convenience and accuracy of the simulation environment development.
