Abstract

In this paper, detrended fluctuation analysis base multifractal spectrum distribution (DFA-MFSD) method is introduced to analyze the multifractal characteristic of radar sea clutter. We briefly give the algorithm of DFA-MFSD and simulate DFA-MFSD of real radar sea clutter, which indicates firstly that radar sea clutter has the time-varying singularity spectrum characteristic, and secondly the DFA-MFSD outperforms the WTMM-MFSD at the computational cost from a practical point of view.
