Abstract

This paper presents a novel single switch high step-up DC-DC converter with high efficiency feature. Due to using coupled inductors and switched capacitor techniques the proposed converter achieves high voltage gain without large duty cycle. In spite of the fact that voltage gain is high, voltage stress across all elements has been reduced. Moreover the input current of the proposed converter is continues and the stored energy in leakage inductance is recycled to the output. These characteristics with low voltage rating components make the proposed converter very suitable for renewable applications. All the operational modes and steady state analysis in CCM are discussed in detail. Finally, some simulations have been done to verify the performance of the proposed converter in Pspice/Orcad.
