Abstract
Abstract A new disaccharide was isolated from the jelly coat of the eggs of the sea urchin Pseudocentrotus depressus. Chemical and chromatographical assays suggest it is fucopyranosyl-(1 → 4)-N-glycolylneuraminic acid.
