Abstract
Here, the first mono-molecule-diameter sized assembling film with controllable handedness is constructed upon air/water interfacial assembly of porphyrin tubular cage (PTC) with C60 fullerene. The assembling film can be a smart chiral sensing platform for electrochemical recognition of tryptophan (Trp) isomers. Resulting from the non-covalent interactions induced changeable handedness, the discriminating effect of L- and D-Trp is dependent on the chirality of assemblies. This work provides a new idea for developing regulable enantioselective platform.
