Abstract

Firstly, this paper presents a radar novel moving target classification and recognition technology. Secondly, the KL divergence is used to analyze the radar echo, and the features of clutter, noise and target signal in the time domain are extracted, and the echo signals are classified into multi class and identified multi labels. In addition to the discriminant method of relative entropy (KL divergence), the extension method of JS (Jensen-Shannon) divergence and Wasserstein distance (EMD) are introduced and simulated. Finally, an efficient radar moving target classification and recognition technology is implemented in MATLAB. The computation used by this technology is very simple and efficient and needs much less memory resources and should be perfectly adequate for computation in real time.
