Abstract
Zinc oxide (ZnO)/reduced graphene oxide (RGO) composite were prepared by chemical vapor deposition and subsequent ultrasonic treatment in this work. The morphology and structure of the samples were characterized by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction. The current–voltage curves of detectors were measured in darkness and under UV illumination. The detector based on the nanocomposite by combining ZnO with RGO sheets shows enhanced photoresponse performances. Moreover, the response time of device based on ZnO/RGO composite is faster than that based on ZnO nanowires. The photoconductive UV detectors based on ZnO/RGO composite may have a great application of ZnO in UV detection.
