Abstract
We present a highly bright output radiated from a single-stripe high power laser diode, known as a broad-stripe laser diode (BS-LD) with ring-type self-pumped phase conjugate mirror. Within a minute after the laser turning on, the lasing frequency was locked at the central wavelength of 808.9 nm within 0.1 nm. The BS-LD then generated a single-lobed far-field.
