Abstract

According to the fact that Multi-carrier code division multiple access (MC-CDMA) systems receive a great attention due to their achieving high data rates in wireless telecommunications, the researchers try to improve the performance of these systems. This paper presents a novel MC-CDMA which has low peak to average power ratio (PAPR). The system is designed by combining MC-CDMA with the Single carrier-frequency division multiple access (SC-FDMA) because the later has low PAPR. The system is simulated to broadcast on Rayleigh fading and AWGN channel, the main performances of this system are evaluated and the bit error rate of the system is showed at different values of signal to noise ratio. Finally, the reduction in PAPR is showed and compared to the original MC-CDMA.
